Accerion joins forces with SICK

German automation leader SICK has acquired Dutch tech startup Accerion, enhancing its Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) offerings. Accerion, founded in 2015, specializes in mobile robot localization based on image recognition. Their flagship product, Triton, is an infrastructure-free localization solution guiding thousands of robots globally. This acquisition strengthens SICK’s solutions portfolio, meeting the growing demand for efficient supply chains in industrial sectors. The Accerion team transitioned to SICK on January 16, 2025, with product development continuing in Venlo, Netherlands.
